SEN Teaching Assistant
Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in Walsall across both mainstream and SEN school settings. This SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting pupils with additional learning, communication and behavioural needs.
We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships, provide consistent classroom support and help pupils engage with learning. This SEN Teaching Assistant role offers flexibility with full-time, part-time and day-to-day opportunities available.

Job Requirements of a Teaching Assistant:
• Minimum 6 months experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting pupils with SEN
• Experience within a UK mainstream or SEN school setting
• Enhanced Child or Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Role responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support as a SEN Teaching Assistant
• Support pupils with learning, behaviour and emotional needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff
